Leamington Marathi is a social and cultural group based in Leamington Spa / Warwick, West Midlands. We are families from Maharashtra, India who have made the UK our home — and together we have built a true “home away from home”.
महाराष्ट्रातून इंग्लंडमध्ये आलेल्या आम्ही सर्व मराठी कुटुंबांनी मिळून हा परिवार उभा केला आहे. सण-उत्सव, संगीत, कला आणि एकमेकांची साथ — यातून आम्ही आपल्या मातीशी असलेलं नातं जपतो.
The group comprises over 400+ families and continues to grow steadily, serving as a hub for Marathi families in the Midlands region. Our mission is to preserve and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Maharashtra while fostering a sense of community and belonging among our members.
We are a non-profit community organisation, run entirely by volunteers, and we are working towards becoming a registered CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation).

From a handful of families to a thriving community.
Marathi families in Leamington Spa and Warwick find each other and start meeting — the seed of a community, planted over chaha and conversation.
Ganeshotsav at Shree Krishna Mandir and our first Diwali Bhet bring hundreds together — proof that Leamington was ready for a Marathi mandal of its own.
Our proudest initiative takes shape: drums arrive from India, practice sessions begin, and the Pathak's first public performances turn heads across town.
Shivrajyotsav draws 280+ people, the Pathak leads the town's Diwali Lights Switch-On before 700+, and the group becomes the hub for Marathi families across the Midlands.
Our Dhol Tasha Pathak performs in London alongside 13 pathaks and 270 players — a historic Maharashtrian gathering etched into the World Book of Records. मराठी संस्कृतीच्या जागतिक वैभवाचा ऐतिहासिक उत्सव!

A traditional gathering for Marathi ladies to celebrate Makar Sankranti — tilgul, saris and sisterhood. तिळगूळ घ्या, गोड गोड बोला!
